St Peter’s bowling was immense and kept Brighton and Hove to a modest score. George was skipper for the day. Wickets for Adwik, Aaron, Maxime, George, Joe, Adam and Marley. Wickets abounded! Maxime, Marley, Joe and George all bowled tight spells.

Our batting had some great successes. The top scorers were Adwik with 17, Maxime with 13, and George with 10. Vikram worked a lovely single and Aaron hit a meaty boundary. There were some outstanding shots, not least George’s switch-hit.

Run outs suppressed our total score – but it was a lesson worth learning, as the players learn about running between the wickets. We already saw a huge improvement the following week!
