A great start to the season as St Peter's U12s won a friendly kindly organised, and hosted by, Southwick CC. The scores on the doors were 166-1 (St Peters, batted first) and Southwick 59-8 after the full 20 overs a side on a beautiful spring morning. Keian, Dylan and Gus all retired not out after scoring more than 20 while Cole and Tom chipped in a good partnership at the end, while Cole, Conor, Miles, Denzel, Benjy and Charlie all got among the wickets. Alex made an excellent debut as wicketkeeper in strong all round showing in a game that was played in an excellent spirit. Alex and Jez did a great job running the team and St Peter's look forward to returning the favour with a post-season friendly later in the year.
