Monday 13th April marked a brilliant start to the season at St Peter's CC, as we welcomed a fantastic 20 players to our women's softball taster session. The turnout exceeded all expectations and sent a clear message - there's a real appetite for women's cricket and SPCC is the place to find it.

The session was a brilliant mix of new faces and familiar ones, with players giving softball cricket a go in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. And the feedback afterwards was overwhelmingly positive!

We're absolutely delighted that so many attendees have already signed up as members following the session. It's exactly the kind of momentum we hoped to build, and it means we can head into match season with a proper squad behind us. Fixtures begin in May, and we cannot wait to start playing!

If you missed the taster but want to get involved, it's not too late — we'd love to have you. We train on Monday nights 6-7pm, with women's hardball training straight afterwards from 7-8pm.
